The Monto & District Historical Society


The Monto & District Historical Society is a community organisation dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Monto and its surrounding district. They operate the Monto Historical and Cultural Centre, which features a museum with historical displays, a cultural centre with photographic exhibits, and a working gold stamper. The society also actively supports other local groups and events, like the Monto Markets and Monto Performing Arts Group.
